Tis the season for thefts, and police are offering tips to avoid becoming a victim of ‘holiday heists.’ Every holiday season reports of “porch pirates” in which people steal packages right off your front porch begin to surge, as well as home and car burglaries. Having a video doorbell or motion sensing spotlights, and making sure you’re home for deliveries, could help chase away intruders and help prevent your Christmas presents from being stolen.
