Peosta residents were rocked by two explosions

PEOSTA, Iowa – Peosta residents were rocked by two explosions over the weekend. Peosta police said in an online announcement that they received numerous calls about two separate explosions Saturday evening and after an investigation it was determined that the recreational use of a binary explosive south of Peosta in Dubuque County was the cause, and that there was no danger to the public.
