One person was hospitalized in Lafayette County crash

DARLINGTON, Wis. – One person was injured in a crash Sunday in Lafayette County. Jerald R. Carlson, 50, of Stockton, Ill., was taken to an area hospital after police say he fell asleep behind the wheel on Wisconsin 23 near Darlington, causing his vehicle to drift off the roadway, enter a ditch and hit a fence, a press release states.
