Three more area school districts announced changes amid staffing shortages due to COVID-19. Maquoketa (ma coe keta-Iowa) Community School District has moved all of its high school and Cardinal Preschool students to remote learning through the Thanksgiving holiday, according to a letter to parents. In-person teaching will resume on Dec. 2. Meanwhile, the River Ridge (Wis.) School District will shift to virtual learning until Nov. 23. Finally, Prairie du Chien High School, who moved to virtual learning Wednesday will remain online through Nov. 18.
