Linn County man facing multiple charges after routine traffic stop

MONTICELLO, Iowa — A Linn County man arrested Tuesday night after allegedly leading authorities on a two-county, high-speed chase during a routine traffic stop is facing multiple charges. When police attempted to pull over Hunter Campbell, 37, in Central City, officers say he sped off prompting a police pursuit that ended outside of Monticello when an officer deployed a “tire deflation device” disabling his vehicle in Jones County, a release states. He was taken into custody on up to a half dozen charges, incluidng DUI and drug possesson.
