Iowa Off to 0-2 Start After Loss to Northwestern

Iowa is now 0-2 for the first time in 20 years thanks to a 21-20 loss to Northwestern yesterday at Kinnick Stadium.

All three of Northwestern’s scores came on the ground, as the Wildcats ran for 143 yards on the day. Isaiah Bowser led the way for NU with 85 yards.

The Hawkeyes only picked up 77 yards on the ground, Tyler Goodson the leading rusher with 43 yards. Spencer Patras went 26 of 50 for 216 yards and was picked off three times as the Hawkeyes were shutout in the second half.

Iowa hosts Michigan State at 11 a.m. next Saturday.
