Dubuque’s Human Rights Commission rallying for affordable housing

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) – The city of Dubuque’s Human Rights Commission is rallying for affordable housing in the city. The organization said in a news release that Dubuque receives federal funds for community development contingent on the city conducting an analysis on housing every five years. The city’s human rights director said the commision has put forward a list of recommended priorities to look into when it comes to housing in Dubuque, including expanding development, and revising who is eligible.
