Dubuque county government buildings dealing with COVID outbreak

DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – Several departments across the Dubuque county government are dealing with a COVID outbreak. Dubuque County Recorder John Murphy issued a notice warning the public to do business with the county remotely after at least three departments had positive COVID-19 cases in the last week.
Murphy said the departments work closely together, but staff is not required to wear masks and isolating and quarantining is on a voluntary basis. Murphy called on county supervisors to implement safety protocols to ensure the public’s safety, according to a news release.
