A drug deal turned robbery resulted in the arrest of two Dubuque teens. Police said a 24 year old Dubuque man met two teens in the 2200 block of Washington Street Friday to purchase marijuana which he told police he electronically sent payment for to one of the teens only to learn additional funds had been taken from his account and the bag of pot was actually cotton balls, leading to a confrontation in which one of the teens threatened the man with a gun. Police identified both teen suspects using video surveillance and they were promptly arrested, one of whom was found hiding in the attic of a home. Police also located a gun believed to have been used in the robbery, documents state.
