COVID reaches record high numbers

The Iowa Department of Public Health reported a new record high 33 additional COVID-19 related deaths Tuesday. The state’s data shows over 2,000 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported since the pandemic began. Additionally, more than 3,560 more COVID-19 cases were reported Tuesday, moving the total number of cases to over 190,580. Hospitalizations also went up.


Just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday Governor Reynolds issued a new public health proclamation this week, including new rules regarding when masks are required in public places, and crowd sizes, as families make plans for get togethers.
